Salt Dough Clay
You will need
1/2 cup to 1 cup of
1 cup to 1 1/2 cup
and 1/2 cup to 1 cup
a BIG bowl
Mix in all of the dry ingredients first, then slowly add in the water, while watching how sticky or watery it becomes. If it is still too watery add more salt. When you think there is enough salt add in a little more flour.
Continue to knead the flour so it does not stick to anything.Throw from one hand to another very quickly or shape it from a sphere to maybe a flat pizza. The more you knead, the easier the dough will be to work with.
To store, place your salt-dough in an air-tight container. Be sure to flour the container first to prevent sticking.
Salt dough may be air dried or baked in a 200 degree oven for several hours.
